My name is Brandy, and I am a FUN 45-year-old mom, married to a Marine veteran, and we have a beautiful daughter and a very energetic son. I am the oldest of three, with 8 & 10 years between us. By the time I was 7 years old, I was already going to Lamas and Bradley classes to be a birthing coach for my mom, who had both of my brothers at home. I was actually able to participate in their births! I, too, had my daughter ALL-NATURAL! Not only that, but I am the oldest of many cousins & was generally the designated babysitter at any given moment for my family & other families in town.
My experience also includes being a gymnastics coach for children 18 months - 18 years old. The majority age bracket of children was 3 - 8 years old. I have also been head and assistant coach for fast pitch softball and baseball, and I am also an umpire.
I know the frustrations of having to deal with both balancing home & work life! I believe that people should be able to not only depend & rely on their childcare provider, but they should also trust that their children will be treated as a member of the provider's own family! Furthermore, I do not condone sitting around just watching television. The children and I do a lot of activities each day, including the as seen on TV "Your Baby Can Read" program along with ABC Mouse.com! As an option, families will also have the choice to have children participate in tumbling/gymnastics lessons included with the regular rate!
I Love children, gymnastics, baseball, softball, playing outside, exploring, baking, cooking, arts & crafts, and just about anything that is fun!
We have been in business since March 2010 and one of the many benefits that are provided is that families DO get to claim their daycare expenses on their taxes!!!
I am DCFS licensed, Insured, Food Safety & Sanitation ,First Aid, and Adult/Child/Infant CPR Certified.
